Moore Park progress

10 June 2019

Day and night systems and tram testing is progressing in Moore Park with the trams becoming an increasingly familiar sight along this stretch of the alignment

It’s important to be aware, there’s a tram there.

  • Road conditions have changed.
  • Always look up before crossing, and always cross at designated crossings and intersections.
  • Trams can’t stop easily or quickly.
  • Never ride your bicycle along the tracks or within the track lane.
  • Cross tracks on an angle when cycling. If you can’t it is safer to dismount your bicycle.

Upcoming main works for the Moore Park area includes the pedestrian bridge on Anzac Parade which will require road closures to progress works. Street light pole installations near the corner of Alison Road and Anzac Parade are coming up, as well as footpath restoration work, line marking and traffic light phasing along Alison Road between Doncaster Avenue and Darley Road.
