VIDEO: Moore Park tunnel tour

16 January 2019

Take a look at the latest video tour of the cut and cover Moore Park tunnel.

At 517m long and 9m deep, more than 60,000 cubic metres of material was excavated during construction.

More than 11,000m3 of concrete and 2000 tonnes of steel reinforcement was used to build the tunnel.

Once testing and commissioning starts in this section of the corridor, the tunnel will connect trams to the Eastern Distributor Bridge and emerge at a new future stop near Sydney’s Football Stadium and Cricket Ground.
